“THE WAVES OF LIFE”

Image
Recently, I went on a trip to Mumbai for four days. One night, I visited Juhu Beach, sat down, and observed the waves, as it is something that I find quite calming. While watching the waves, a few thoughts struck me: Waves keep flowing—sometimes they come far, sometimes they don't, but they never stop. To me, this mirrors life: there are down days, and there are good days, but life goes on regardless. Another thing that struck me was that each wave has its own sound, if you have the ear for it. Similarly, every person has their own unique identity, and we should never view everyone through the same lens. Every person has their own context. Waves can also act like people or places. Just as we seek out certain places or people to calm ourselves, waves have a way of decluttering our minds, no matter how much is going on in our heads. This idea is clearly captured by John Tyndall when he says: "Life is a wave, which in no two consecutive moments of its existence is composed of t...

Bharat Ratna Announcement : '"A political Symphony beyond optics"

The recent announcement of Bharat Ratna to three additional stalwarts, along with the two previously honored, has dominated news channels. While the unanimous praise for these awards is evident, it's crucial to recognize that their significance transcends mere optics, carrying profound socio-political implications. The decision to confer the highest civilian honor upon LK Advani underscores how the BJP values its stalwarts, dispelling rumors of Advani not receiving due respect within the party. This move demonstrates Prime Minister Modi's unwavering reverence for his mentor. Similarly, the selection of Karpoori Thakur punctuates the political discourse surrounding the opposition's caste census demand plus honouring his contribution towards upliftment of socially backward classes. Thakur's inclusion, alongside Advani, highlights BJP's commitment to leveraging its core strengths in voter mobilization, encompassing both Mandal and Kamandal ideologies. While earlier ann...

"NON PERFORMING PARLIAMENTARIANS"

The financial landscape, often marred by the ominous presence of Non-Performing Assets (NPAs), has been a longstanding concern, particularly in India. The term found its inception through the Narsimhan Committee, signaling the gravity of the issue. In response, the government has diligently embarked on a journey to mitigate this economic menace. Steps such as fortifying legislations like the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code have been instrumental in yielding incremental successes. The banking sector, too, has undergone a transformation, adopting a more rigorous approach to lending, thereby enhancing its financial prudence.  However, as we grapple with the economic implications of NPAs, a parallel predicament unfolds within the legislative realm – the conundrum of Non-Performing Parliamentarians (NPMs). Members of Parliament (MPs), entrusted with representing the voice of the masses, play a pivotal role in shaping policies and addressing public concerns. Yet, the specter of NPM...

'THE LAST DANCE"

Image
While the title won't make much sense to the readers and to whatever I am writing below, however, this title pretty much sums up most of the things for me over the next few months. After ages stayed in Delhi for close to two months and as always Delhi has been kind hospitable and loving to me, coming here since I completed college always gives me a sense of reflection and rejuvenation, as much exciting as it is to come here as much gloomy to leave as leaving Delhi always feels like leaving a part of you behind however leaving this time is somewhat different as earlier I used to get sad as I am leaving a lot of things behind, but this time it's more of like you come for a work which is done so now is the time to leave and that is what as they say adulting is I guess. Another point is Delhi is Delhi for me because of a few people because "Maje jagah se thodi logo se aate hai " , and those people know who they are and they should know that I will forever be thankful to...

THE “F” WORD

Hello everyone ,writing a blog after ages ,but i hope you all are keeping good ! Today want to talk about the oft neglected thing in our country, the “F” word ,you might mistaken it for some other thing but here i am talking about failure. You might me thinking why did i used F when i could have said failure only, its because we have treated it that way only ,we have never given it the importance it deserves, just always despised it ,I keep reading that people should be told financial lessons etc etc from childhood but what everyone need to be taught the most is how to deal with failures. Since childhood you have been succeeding and one fine day you fail and you dont even know how to react to it or how to deal with it because you have never been taught ,you have always seen failure being ridiculed. Another thing is that people message that we understand what you are going through except for few people who will message that we really can’t understand what you are going through but we ...

Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is a human tragedy. It's an outrage against any decent people. Mark Shields Human trafficking  is just another name for modern-day slavery, wherein the victims   involved are forced, coerced and deceived into labor and sexual exploitation. The 3 most common types of human trafficking are sex trafficking, forced labor, and debt bondage. Forced labor, also known as involuntary servitude, is the biggest sector of trafficking in the world, according to the U.S. Department of State. Debt bondage is another form of human trafficking in which an individual is forced to work in order to pay a debt. Sex trafficking disproportionately affects women and children and involves forced participation in commercial sex acts. In the United States, any child under the age of 18 who has been involved in a commercial sex act is considered a trafficking victim. Women and girls make up 80% of the people trafficked transnationally. Yearly, trafficke...
