'THE LAST DANCE"
While the title won't make much sense to the readers and to whatever I am writing below, however, this title pretty much sums up most of the things for me over the next few months.
After ages stayed in Delhi for close to two months and as always Delhi has been kind hospitable and loving to me, coming here since I completed college always gives me a sense of reflection and rejuvenation, as much exciting as it is to come here as much gloomy to leave as leaving Delhi always feels like leaving a part of you behind however leaving this time is somewhat different as earlier I used to get sad as I am leaving a lot of things behind, but this time it's more of like you come for a work which is done so now is the time to leave and that is what as they say adulting is I guess.
Another point is Delhi is Delhi for me because of a few people because "Maje jagah se thodi logo se aate hai ", and those people know who they are and they should know that I will forever be thankful to them for being always my side and this applied equally to few other people who are not in Delhi but have always stood through thick and thin because, at the end of the day, it's all about those few people who you can talk to about anything without the fear of being judged, who can give you solace when you feel down and someone who can say to you that "har baat jeetna jaruri nahi hota when you have lost!
Wanted to write this very personal note which might not resonate with most of you however, this is an ode to what Abhay Kumar says is “Seduction of Delhi “ and to those few lovely people and I believe every one of us from time to time should thank people in whatever way we feel like because it does matters!!
So to end this short write up I will use couplet by Kaif bhopali :
जनाब-ए-'कैफ़' ये दिल्ली है 'मीर' ओ 'ग़ालिब' की
यहाँ किसी की तरफ़-दारियाँ नहीं चलतीं
This is the first of many parts of the last dance series which are going to arrive in the future and the meaning of the title will be explained at the last.
Till then, read and imbibe this quote by Lee Tzu Pheng:
"Life is too short but feels pretty long. There's too much to do, so much going wrong, and most of the time you struggle to be strong. Before it's too late and it's time to go, sip your coffee nice and slow!
Cheers,
A.
Really resonates with everyone who has been to Delhi !! Too good
